Why this tire

  • Closed-shoulder tread: the shoulder is one continuous rib instead of separate blocks, which the supplier’s spec sheet credits with spreading drive torque to fight irregular wear
  • 27/32" tread depth in every size listed — 11R22.5, 11R24.5 and 295/75R22.5, all 16-ply Load Range H
  • Supplier spec sheet credits the block-and-groove tread with wet grip and heat dissipation; there is no 3PMSF or M+S marking on file, so treat it as a wet-weather highway tread, not a snow tire
  • Stone ejectors in the main grooves keep stones out of the tread to protect the casing
  • One casing across the line: 16-ply Load Range H at 120 psi in every size. There is no 14-ply Load Range G FM770
  • Heaviest-rated variant is 11R24.5 Load Range H at 149/146, carrying 7,160 lb single and 6,610 lb dual at 120 psi. Molded in Cambodia

Service description = load index (single/dual mounting) + speed rating. Max loads are per tire — duals carry slightly less each. Invovic doesn't publish a tire weight for this line, so we don't print one. Note your truck and axle in the quote and we'll verify the spec before you pay.

This is the drive tire for a truck that spends its life on the interstate. Long-haul and regional highway running, loaded, with the drives turning the miles and the tandem staying under the truck until the tread is gone. The FM770 is a closed-shoulder drive-axle radial at 27/32" tread depth, listed in three sizes, all in 16-ply Load Range H. It is aimed at steady highway work, not at anything that spends its day off the pavement.

Closed shoulder means the outer edge of the tread is one continuous rib instead of separate blocks, and the supplier's spec sheet credits that continuous shoulder with spreading drive torque to fight irregular wear. The same sheet gives the design aims as steady highway miles, even wear and quiet running, and credits the block-and-groove tread with wet grip and heat dissipation. Stone ejectors sit in the main grooves to keep stones out of the tread and protect the casing. Depth does the rest: 27/32" in every size, so there is real rubber to run off before it is down to the wear bars. The casing is molded in Cambodia.

Drive axle only. Do not fit it to a steer. It is not a winter tire either, with no 3PMSF severe-snow marking and no M+S marking on file, so keep it out of chain-law lanes that require one. It is not EPA SmartWay verified and not CARB listed, which rules it out of fuel-economy incentive programs and any bid that specifies a verified low-rolling-resistance tire. There is no published on/off-road or mixed-service rating, so construction, logging and yard duty are the wrong cycle for it. If your regional work runs off the pavement edge, ask us about the Invovic FM750 open-shoulder drive instead. On air and speed: every FM770 size is 16-ply Load Range H at 120 psi, speed symbol L, 75 mph. There is no 14-ply Load Range G build, so if the tandem runs Load Range G tires today, do not mix the two load ranges on one axle. It comes in 11R22.5, 11R24.5 and 295/75R22.5. If you run 285/75R24.5, that axle takes a different brand — ask us and we will quote it.

The major-brand benchmark in this position is the Goodyear Endurance LHD: a closed-shoulder long-haul drive at 30/32" tread depth, EPA SmartWay verified and M+S rated. Goodyear publishes a casing warranty on it — unlimited retreads for seven years from the casing DOT date when the casing is retreaded by a Goodyear Authorized Retreader, and coverage through the first retread for seven years when it is not — plus a named retread program, UniCircle, and full dimensional data in its engineering data book. Invovic publishes no manufacturer warranty and no retread program, so there is no manufacturer coverage to quote on an FM770. And we publish no overall diameter, section width, revs per mile or approved rim widths for the Invovic line — our spec table stops at loads, pressures and tread depth. Ask us what we can cover before you buy. The FM770 is 16-ply Load Range H only. The two meet in Load Range H in 11R22.5 and 11R24.5; in 295/75R22.5 they do not overlap at all, because Goodyear builds the Endurance LHD in Load Range G there, so tell us which casing your spec calls for. If a verified casing program is in your spec, buy the Goodyear. If it is not, put the FM770 and the Endurance LHD on one quote and compare the delivered numbers: tires, delivery, tax and state tire fee. Mounting and balancing is your local truck tire shop's charge, on their invoice, either way.
